In 1968, Bob Nordskog founded the Nordskog Competition Center. In 2001, we continue Bob's passion and dedication with our recent entrance into the automotive aftermarket and our new name Nordskog Performance Products.
His vision to build, develop and maintain the finest quality marine components available became a reality.
Bob's powerboat racing endeavors included tunnel outboard, tunnel inboard, stock outboard, drags, inboard endurance and offshore. He also set a still-standing landspeed record of 125 mph in a Ford model "T" at Muroc Dry Lake, Calif. Bob's many honors include induction into American Power Boat Association's Hall of Champions and Power Squadron and most recently, the Motorsports Hall of Fame. Bob's competitiveness was standard operating procedure throughout all of Nordskog industries aircraft galleys, ground support, electric vehicle and Powerboat magazine divisions.
Bob's frustration with the lack of an accurate on-the-water speedometer led to the creation of the now famous Nordskog Speed-O-Meter.
Today as much as ever, the competitive spark still burns inside all of us that work under the roof that still bears the name Nordskog. We maintain the tradition of advance engineering in every race-tested instrument we produce. Evidence of this is the recent development and introduction of our state-of-the-art GPS controlled speedometers.
Whether your interest lies in just cruising around or all out racing, our instruments will provide you with the proper margin of safety and the essence of speed. Nordskog Speed-O-Meters: "Accuracy is Everything".
